Media[ted] is a research project beginning as a series of situational responses to the global events of 2020. Using re-animation and GIF processing, the documented responses took on new meaning when altered for rapid online consumption. This act led to identifying the digital world as one of flattened and accelerated time and space, prompting an investigation into our relationship with digital devices and digital technology. The project produced iterative outcomes that engaged with film, superimposition, performance and mapping.
